Learn how to sew the Ethel Pants

This video course includes step-by-step instruction on making the Ethel Pants by Style Arc.

I'm taking you through sewing up the Ethel Pant, a pattern by Style Arc. It is one of my favorite patterns! As well as being designer pants these are the most comfortable pant you will ever wear! I wear these all summer and into fall with tights or kneehighs. The design is forgiving and works in a myriad of fabrics.

Materials:

You will need a copy of the Ethel Pants pattern by Style Arc.

  • Fabric: 1.85 - 2.2 yards of 58" wide fabric (check the pattern for your size)
  • Fabric suggestion: Linen, Crepe, Silk, Fine Wool, quilting cotton, and silk noil
  • Elastic for the waist

I'm demonstrating using a serger but you can use a regular home sewing machine as long as it can do a zig zag and straight stitch.
